This was actually a spontaneous sketch some time ago (couple months) that I don't think I ever scanned in. Lastnight I decided it seemed worth inking, so did.. then as I started looking it over and coloring it became more like a vague (and WAY off) resemblance to a character of a dear friend of mine. So I continued the coloring thusly and came up with this.. of course having been scanned MUCH of the color was lost -.- It is really much more pretty in actuallity, but yeah.. Drawn with mechanical pencil, inked in Uni-ball fusion pens, colored with color pencils and Uniball Fusion pens, scanned..and well.. you get the idea.. might I say though, my friend Stephen was right. Uni-balls are fun to ink with.. and the Fusions are awesome for line marking over colored areas. ^.^ I used them on the fur and whatnot, though you can't see it thanks to the scanner. *snarls* oh I'm fully aware porportions are off, coloring is nasty and the face is rather stupid..i just thought it was cute damnit!!!!

I love it! Considering Marah is a faerie being of fluctuant nature in her highest manifestation, which she is as Marah~Fae Fireheart, as you now her; everyone sees her differently. The 'way offness' of her keyform that I most often draw her in just appears to me to be your own take on the energy. I like the face ;) the expression is wonderful and everything about it is unique but definitely speaks of her to me. Thankyou so much! You could try scanning at a lower brightness and send me a relatively high resolution copy and I'll fiddle with it for you in photoshop? I've gotten pretty good at fixing up scans that way. :D

thankee :) Im thinking about rescannin it and letting elysianqueen work her magic on it. ALOT of the color was lost in the scan.
